The 10-Step Skincare Routine for Dry Skin

The colder weather is coming (soon? hopefully?), and that means dry, flaky skin is also on the horizon (cuuute I know!). So, I’ve put together a list of the products you’ll need for a 10-step skincare routine for dry skin to keep it plump, hydrated and glowy AF even in the upcoming drying temps.

I’ve also tried to keep this list relatively inexpensive – if something is on there that’s on the pricier side, then that means I realllyy stan it! (Thoughts on the word “stan,” btw?? Not sure how I felt using it just now). Also, I only included CLEAN products in this list!

Good luck and keep that skin cuuute! xoxo

1. Oil Cleanser / Water Cleanser

Knours Your Only Cleanser, $25

Use 2x/day, every day

“You need clean, safe, and effective cleanser that can leave your skin clean and clear. This 2-in-1 cleanser is unique oil-to-foam blend that double cleanses your face without stripping away essential oils and moisture. It starts off as a nourishing oil to dissolve your makeup & pull out pore-clogging grime then transforms into a bubbly cleansing foam to wash away all that is left behind.”

2. Exfoliating Scrub

Saturday Skin Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel, $28

Use 2-3x/week

“Refining Peel Gel works with natural enzymes and powerful peptides by allowing you to gently rub away impurities and soothe your skin at the same time. The gel helps to gently pick up impurities that dull the skin, and in result, skin will appear more refined, bright, and firm.”

3. Toner

Mamonde Rose Water Toner, $20

Use 2x/day, every day

“A multitasking water that tones, soothes and hydrates as it preps skin for the next steps in your beauty regimen. Infused with 90% real Rose Water from 100% organic Damask Roses, the refreshing formula pampers skin, leaving complexion soft, fresh and dewy.”

4. Essence

Neogen Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence, $38

“A deeply hydrating and brightening essence that contains more than 93% naturally fermented ingredients, including bifida ferment lysate and 28% saccharomyces ferment filtrate, to deliver instant moisture and skin-plumping benefits.”

*I feel like a lot of people skip this step, but it’ll be super important in your 10-step skincare routine for dry skin because it will help the serum penetrate even deeper into the skin. More hydration all around!

5. Vitamin C Serum

InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum, $17.96

Use 1x/day, every morning

6. Face Oil/Serum

Pai Skincare Organic Rosehip Oil, $44

*Do not be afraid of oils if you have oily skin! It’s counter-intuitive, but if you use more oils, your skin will STOP producing it’s own excess oils – and you’ll have less breakouts!

7. Eye Cream

Herbal Dynamics Beauty Mango & Green Tea Firming Eye Mask, $20

Use every night (or as often as desired)
